You know it’s fall, when I go weeks without posting client work. While also posting holiday sessions 😅

I know I’ve said it before, but I’m going to say it again. I love mini sessions for the efficiency, but full sessions have my heart. I will always choose full sessions. There’s a calming sense to them. We aren’t in a rush. If your kids are shy, it gives them time to warm up to me. I get so many in between moments, like mama fixing a braid, little kisses, and hand squeezes. Moments that aren’t on a shot list I’m trying to check off. I urge everyone to please choose full sessions every once in a while. There’s nothing like them. 🫶🏻

I’ve come to quickly adore senior sessions. It’s always so fun to get to know these kids as they get ready to pass into adulthood. These twins were so unique and fun! And also incredibly creative and talented.

Liv wants to be an engineer and build movie props (see pictures of her working on her animatronic Toothless she’s building) and Drew is an incredible artist and loves all things photography (which we totally geeked out together)

Loved spending time with these two. Such great, sweet kids.

That is my hope as a photographer is families continue to come back to me year after year, but I’m not necessarily talking about myself at this moment. If I could give any advice to anyone who is looking for a photographer to be a legacy photographer for their family I recommend looking for someone who’s art speaks to you, who you seem to click with. Your session should feel like seeing an old friend year after year who your kids are comfortable with who understands who you are as a family and what you’re expecting and needing out of a session.

I’ve come to quickly adore senior sessions. It’s always so fun to get to know these kids as they get ready to pass into adulthood. These twins were so unique and fun! And also incredibly creative and talented.

Liv wants to be an engineer and build movie props (see pictures of her working on her animatronic Toothless she’s building) and Drew is an incredible artist and loves all things photography (which we totally geeked out together)

Loved spending time with these two. Such great, sweet kids.

That is my hope as a photographer is families continue to come back to me year after year, but I’m not necessarily talking about myself at this moment.
