ABOUT ME
Babies grow up too fast. 10 years ago I picked up a camera to freeze my own babies. I wanted to hold on to photographs of my children’s every day lives of running around parks, exploring the magic of Disneyland, building sandcastles at the beach, and all the little moments in between. Looking through old photographs takes me back to those days of my daughters crazy curly hair and my sons chubby dimpled little hands holding mine.
That’s what I love about what I do. That the photographs we cherish so dearly take us back to those very moments. We remember whatever little unique quirks our babies held at the time. Like my daughters Frozen movie stage. Oh my gosh, that movie played so much in my house! Now she’s on the brisk of 11 and I miss those days of Disney princesses.
The days, months and years move so fast, so often we forget to really stop and enjoy these precious moments. But that’s what I am here for. I want to help stop time just a little for you, so you can always hold on to those little moments. I love photographing in the beautiful landscapes of Spokane, Couer D’Alene and love traveling around to locations such as Southern California and Joshua Tree.
A few things about me, I am a mama to a 10 and 12 year old. I am also madly in love with my husband, we’ve been together 15 years! I love the life I’ve built. The picture above is my sweet family. <3
My background includes a nanny, preschool teacher and developmentally delayed children. I have a BA in Education. When I am not with my kids, photography families and kiddos, I am teaching 2nd and 3rd grade! So basically what I am saying is I love children, and I’m really good at working with children. I am an enneagram 9 meaning I’m a go with the flow kinda girl. I’m very easy going and that’s really how I run my sessions. I am coffee obsessed, I definitely drink more coffee than water. Oops. I love to read and watch trashy CW teen shows.
